At 2:20 a.m., the suspect pried open the rear door to the location. The suspect then tried to go through the wall in order to get inside the pharmacy next door. When he was unsuccessful, he removed ceiling tiles to try to climb over, but was not successful. He eventually left, and made entry by door glass to the pharmacy next door. The suspect was later taken into custody.
At 4:21 a.m., patrol officers responded for an alarm at the Essex Pharmacy and Surgicals. They discovered an open back door. A suspect was located inside and taken into custody. The suspect had stolen prescription medications.
At 7 p.m., the victim answered a knock at her door, and the suspects forced their way inside. The suspects demanded the victim’s pills, and struck her several times in the head with handguns. The victim knew one suspect by partial name. Suspect identified and warrant obtained.
