    Update - Police Identify Victim in Lochearn Homicide

    Baltimore County Police have identified the victim in the Saturday, September 20, homicide in Lochearn. His name is Jonathan Michael Watkins, 20, last known address in the 100-block of Village of Pine Court, 21244.
    Police ask anyone that might have information about this crime to call (410) 307-2020.

    The Baltimore County Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred in Lochearn.

    On September 20, at 2:06 a.m., Baltimore County police responded to the area of Lantern Hill Drive and Sedgemoor Road, 21207 for a check on subject call. Police found an unidentified young male subject suffering from severe trauma to the body. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

    Baltimore County police homicide detectives are investigating the case. Police are asking anyone with information about this crime to call (410) 307-2020. Witnesses can also contact Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7-Lockup, where they may qualify for a reward up to $2,000.00, if there information leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.

At 11:26 p.m., the victim met the suspect and paid him $100 that he owed. The suspect then pointed a gun at him, stated "I should shoot you", and fled the scene.

At 3:50 p.m., the victim was getting off an MTA bus. The suspects grabbed his cell phone and assaulted him before fleeing the scene.

Sometime between 3:00 a.m. and 3:45 a.m., unknown suspects gained entry to the Subway store by breaking the door glass. A safe was taken from the location.

At 12:45 a.m., the victim was exiting her bathroom and discovered the suspects in her bedroom. The suspects stole some cash and the victim's cell phone before fleeing the scene.

Sometime between 2:23 a.m. on March 16 and 4:26 a.m. on March 17, unknown suspects pried open the rear door to gain entry to the Eastern Discount Pharmacy. The suspects took prescription medications from the location.

At 11:20 p.m., the victim was walking through a parking lot when he was assaulted by five suspects. The suspects stole $40 from his pockets.

At 11:00 p.m., the victim bought $80 worth of marijuana from the suspects. When the victim tried to return the marijuana, one of the suspects took the marijuana back and then took a pair of shoes from the victim's car. One of the suspects has been taken into custody.
