Baltimore County Police have identified the victim in the Saturday, September 20, homicide in Lochearn. His name is Jonathan Michael Watkins, 20, last known address in the 100-block of Village of Pine Court, 21244.

The Baltimore County Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred in Lochearn.
On September 20, at 2:06 a.m., Baltimore County police responded to the area of Lantern Hill Drive and Sedgemoor Road, 21207 for a check on subject call. Police found an unidentified young male subject suffering from severe trauma to the body. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Baltimore County police homicide detectives are investigating the case. Police are asking anyone with information about this crime to call (410) 307-2020. At 3 p.m., the suspects approached the victim, displayed a knife and demanded his property. Two of the suspects began to assault the victim. They then went through the victim's back pack and fled with his property.
At 9:55 p.m., the suspects approached the victim. One of the suspects punched him in the face causing him to fall to the ground. Once on the ground, the suspects began kicking the victim. The suspects fled on foot with the victim's cellphone and wallet.
At 12:15 a.m., the victims were standing in front of Lansdowne Middle School when three suspects approached them. The suspects demanded money and when they were denied, they assaulted the victims who fled.
At 11:20 p.m., the suspect approached the victim from behind and asked what time it was. When the victim pulled out his cellphone the suspect struck him in the face. The victim was knocked to the ground and his keys, wallet, and cellphone were taken.
At 1:22 p.m. on May 23, the suspects approached the victim on the school bus. They assaulted him and took his cell phone.
On May 22 at 4:25 a.m., the suspect entered the Royal Farms store and demanded that the cashier open the register. The cashier refused. The cashier was knocked to the ground by the suspect and he began assaulting her. He took several packs of cigarettes and fled on foot.
