    On October 23, cardiac arrest survivors, Baltimore County Fire, EMS and elected officials came together at the Parkville Fire Station to raise awareness of the dangers of sudden cardiac arrest and the importance of immediate use of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and defibrillation in giving victims a chance at survival.

    “It’s incredibly rewarding and moving to see people who are here today because someone cared enough to learn how to provide CPR and use an AED,” said County Executive Kevin Kamenetz.

    Local survivors of cardiac arrest also shared their stories at today’s event: Elise Fellner, 16, of Forest Hill; Richard Beverage, 61, of Parkville; Chris Malczewski, 32, of Parkville; Bob Pollack, 53, of Middle River; Ann January, 44, of Parkville; and Kim Barranco, 48, of Towson.

At 11:30 p.m., the suspects approached the victim when he got off the bus. The suspects pushed him to the ground and took his wallet. Both suspects are male.

At 9 p.m., an unknown suspect removed copper coil from air conditioning units on the roof of the Halethorpe Community Church.

At 5:30 p.m., the victim got into an argument with the occupants of a disabled vehicle. One of the suspects pointed a gun at the victim, who fled in her vehicle. The suspects are a white female and a white male.

At 1:24 a.m., officers responded to Hammerman's Powerline Maintenance for a burglary. They located two suspects who were attempting to steal copper wire.

At 4:27 p.m., three juvenile suspects were arrested after pointing a gun at the victim and demanding his headphones. The suspects fled on bicycles into Baltimore City, where they were arrested.

At 1:26 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the Vehicles for Change yard and took catalytic converters from vehicles.

At 10:05 p.m., three suspects broke a rear window to enter the home. Video games were taken. The suspects are three black males.
