Have you ever eaten Itlog na pula? How about some cocidos? Never tried Pulutan? These aren’t exotic delicacies only available in foreign lands. They’re wonderful foods enjoyed by your neighbors each and every day and this Sunday, you can try them out for yourself at the Fiesta Filipiniana.
The Fiesta Filipiniana is Maryland's largest free Filipino-American outdoor festival and it’s back in Patriot Plaza, between the Towson Courthouses on Bosley Avenue, on Sunday, June 10 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free.
This is the 22nd year that Towson has hosted the Fiesta, which honors Filipino history and heritage that so many residents of Baltimore County have brought to our communities. This fiesta offers a chance to enjoy all things Filipino, from live music to cuisine to native crafts. It’s a great opportunity to expand your horizons, learn more about your fellow County citizens, and best of all, try some great food. Everything starts at 11:30 a.m. with a Filipino parade with native costumes.
