- Local Emergency Planning Committee
The Baltimore County Local Emergency Planning Committee—comprising community and business leaders and first responders—develops and reviews contingency and evacuation plans for emergencies involving hazardous materials. LEPCs are required under the federal Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986.
