- Circuit Court
The court hears major civil cases, serious criminal matters including death penalty cases, juvenile and family law cases. It is the only court in the county having the authority to conduct jury trials.
- Daily Docket
The Online Daily Docket Baltimore County Circuit Court is updated between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. each day for the next day's docket.
- District Court
This court hears most landlord-tenant cases, small claims for amounts up to $5,000, replevin actions, motor vehicle violations, misdemeanors, certain felonies, and peace and protective orders.
