Baltimore County offers substance abuse education and treatment through the Health Department

- Prevention Services
The Prevention Services Division of the Bureau of Substance Abuse provides programs and services that are designed to prevent or delay the onset of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug abuse. 

- Treatment
The outpatient treatment programs provide comprehensive substance abuse services to individuals, both adults and adolescents, who have experienced social, emotional and interpersonal problems as a result of their or a significant other's abusive pattern of alcohol or drug use.
