- Water Quality Sampling Results
Baltimore County has almost 200 miles of coastline including tidal rivers. The Department of Environmental Protection and Resource Management is engaged in the routine sampling of the waters most heavily utilized for recreational activities. Heavily utilized bathing areas are sampled bi-weekly as are recreational areas where water sports such as skiing, wind surfing, sailing etc. take place.
