Family and Children's Services, West Baltimore County

Offers crisis intervention, case management, legal advocacy, shelter, individual and group therapy for victims and their children.

Family Crisis Center of Baltimore County

Provides long term safe shelter, long term transitional shelter, individual, group and family counseling, information and referral, and victim advocacy to primary and secondary victims of family violence. Provides batterers' treatment to perpetrators of family violence. Provides preventive family psychotherapy to families in conflict. Provides educational programs to communities and agencies.

Turnaround, Inc.

Offers individual and group counseling for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault / abuse. Domestic violence services also include temporary shelter for victims with their children and pets; legal services and referral; batterers' treatment.

Acts, Inc.

Operates Martha's Place and Harriet House as transitional shelters with support services for victims of domestic violence.

Chana

Provides services to Jewish victims of domestic violence.

Healthcare

Family Violence Program at Sinai Hospital: Provides crisis intervention, individual and group counseling for victims of domestic violence and their children. Training for healthcare providers on Domestic Violence intervention.

Prepares for trial of criminal cases involving domestic violence.

Baltimore County States Attorney's Office / Victim Witness Unit

Answers legal questions which relate to criminal cases such as: trial dates, time or location. Also available to add witnesses.

Parole / Probation

Reports concerning the behavior of domestic violence offenders released to Parole / Probation supervision can be made to a victim advocate.
