For information about and referral to Baltimore County Shelters, please call 410-853-3000.

There are three emergency shelters available to Baltimore County residents:

  • Community Assistance Network (CAN) Shelter at the Eastern Family Resource Center, 9100 Franklin Square Drive - for families
  • Hannah More House in Reisterstown - for single women and families with children
  • Nehemiah House in Rossville - for single men

These are 24-hour shelters where meals are provided and social work, health and mental health services are available.
