- Police Athletic League (PAL) Centers - Since 1977 the Baltimore County P.A.L. Centers have provided a safe, constructive alternative to idle boredom. The P.A.L. Centers are staffed by Baltimore County police officers and recreation coordinators who, along with community volunteers, try to enhance the positive moral development of the youth through enjoyable activities.

- Maryland Committee for Children - Maryland Committee for Children works with parents, child care providers, advocates, employers, and policymakers to expand and enhance the early childhood education and child care available to Maryland's children.
- Maryland Department of Human Resources - The Purchase of Child Care (POC) program helps eligible families pay for child care. Vouchers, issued to eligible families by local departments of social services, are used to purchase care from any regulated child care center or home or from an informal provider approved by the local department.
