Housing Choice Voucher Program with Application - ("Section 8" Housing Assistance) The Housing Choice Voucher Program helps low-income families or elderly/disabled persons pay their rent.

The GoSection 8 service helps voucher holders locate available units in areas where they chose to live.

The Family Self-Sufficiency Program (FSS) is an innovative, voluntary program that helps Section 8 participants achieve economic independence over a five-year period. Participants work with a case manager, to assess their strengths, identify barriers, set goals and achieve them.

HUD - HUD's mission is to increase homeownership, support community development and increase access to affordable housing free from discrimination. To fulfill this mission, HUD will embrace high standards of ethics, management and accountability and forge new partnerships--particularly with faith-based and community organizations--that leverage resources and improve HUD's ability to be effective on the community level.
