Adult

Morning session: Mondays 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.
Evening sessions: Mondays 7 to 8 p.m., Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Dance

Dance X-Treme
Ages three and up
Registration usually occurs on the second Saturday in September at Parkville Recreation Center’s Gymnasium.
Program operates October through April.
Classes offered to children ages 3 to 12 operate on Saturday's, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Classes offered to children ages 13 and up operate on Tuesday evenings, 5:30 to 9 p.m.

Dance Power
Competitions are held throughout Maryland, D.C. and Virginia (some travel is required).

Dog Obedience

Adult
Program is a nine-week course that operates three sessions a year.
Dog must be six months or older in order to participate.
Cost of the program is $70 per each nine-week session.

Drama, Workshop

Ages four to 18

Workshop is a ten week course and is based on age and performance experience.
After the workshop concludes the children will perform in a drama showcase.

Program runs an eight week course, year round with ongoing registration.
Classes are offered on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Tuesdays and Fridays as needed.
Beginner levels meet from 6:30 to 7:10 p.m.
Intermediate levels meet from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m.

Gardens

Adult
Program operates from April 1 to October 31 at Double Rock Park.
You may plant or care for your plots Monday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Participant cost is $7 for your registration fee, $5 per plot and a $50 refundable clean-up fee.

Ages two, three and four
The Parkville Tot Fun Center is held at Parkville Recreation Center, located at 8601 Harford Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21234.
Program operates September through May, offering the following class times; Monday through Friday, 9:15 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 3 p.m.
Registration fee is $50 plus participation costs as listed below.
Participation costs vary by age group and the amount of days provided. Two year olds: three day per week session $585, two day per week session $390, One day per week session $195.

  • Pine Grove Tots

Ages three and four
The Pine Grove Tot Fun Center is held at Pine Grove Elementary School.
Program operates September through May.
The three year-old class is offered in two morning sessions that meet twice a week. The first session offered meets on Monday and Thursday mornings, 9 to 11:30 a.m. The second session offered meets on Tuesday and Friday mornings, 9 to 11:30 a.m.
Child must be age three before September 1.
The four year-old class offered has one afternoon session that meets daily, Monday through Friday, 12:30 to 3 p.m.
Child must be age four before September 1.
