Cromwell Valley Park encompasses 400 plus acres of stream valley and upland habitat just minutes from downtown Towson. The park offers a variety of educational, interpretive and recreational experiences related to agriculture, nature and conservation, and the cultural history of Cromwell Valley, with the Willow Grove Nature Education Center, a remodeled historic farm house, as the focal point.

Cromwell has over five miles of hiking trails through fields and forest, along streams and ridges, and  a very active Hawk Watch site during the migration season. Our native plant garden, live animal exhibits and honey bee hives are the focal point for a variety of programs related to conservation, native plants, gardening, wildlife, pollinators, butterflies, birds, etc.

Historic structures related to the early history of Cromwell Valley are preserved, including the massive lime kilns, historic homesteads and out-buildings, remnants of our early settlement and industry.
