In What Recreation and Parks Area or Council Do I Live?

The Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks works in conjunction with 45 volunteer recreation and parks councils to sponsor a wide range of leisure programs, activities and special events throughout Baltimore County's 640 square miles.  Whatever interests you or your family may have, chances are our recreation and parks councils have a program for you.

The map below displays the six geographic areas throughout the County.  Within each area, there are numerous volunteer recreation and parks councils that sponsor and operate recreation programs. While you may wish to participate in those programs that are closest to your home, you are certainly welcome to participate in programs sponsored by any of the councils throughout the County.
