Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan
The Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan (LPPRP) serves as the advisory master plan for the Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks. The LPPRP outlines the County’s recreation, parks, and open space policies, goals, objectives, and priorities.
2012 LPPRP Public Input Meeting
The Department of Recreation and Parks will host a public meeting on Monday, November 21, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. to provide interested citizens with the opportunity to provide input on the upcoming 2012 LPPRP. The meeting will be held at The Jefferson Building, Room 104 105 W. Chesapeake Avenue, 21204.
The purpose of this meeting is to obtain public input relating to Baltimore County’s parks, recreation, and general land preservation efforts. This input will play an important role in the formulation of recreation, parks, and open space policies, goals, objectives, and priorities within the plan. The LPPRP will be brought before the Baltimore County Planning Board and County Council for formal adoption as a Baltimore County Master Plan addendum. Opportunities for further public input will be available through the plan adoption process.
The Department realizes that not everyone will be able to attend this public input meeting. As such, individuals who wish to provide input and be included on the mailing list for the plan process may contact the Department of Recreation and Parks’ Planner.
