Long popular with boarders from all across the Country, Sandy Hills Park is the home of the County's first skate facility, a large concrete skate bowl. Construction of the new skate park street course, parking, comfort station, and playground is now complete! While there is no fee for use of the County's skate facilities, skateboarders and roller bladers that wish to use the facilities must register with the local recreation office.
Hours: Hours are from 3 p.m. to dusk on weekdays, and noon to dusk weekends (the facility will have expanded hours on certain holidays as well). Sandy Hills skate park hours will be extended during the Summer, once school is out for the year. Park hours are subject to change.
