The Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks celebrated the opening of its first indoor soccer facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Southeast Regional Recreation Center in October of 2002. The center, which measures nearly 23,000 square feet, features a 175' x 75' indoor field, spectator and player seating, administrative offices, a meeting/party room, a small concessions area, storage, and restrooms. This facility will help to meet strong year-round demands for indoor sports, providing a recreational venue that can be used even during Winter when outdoor athletic fields are shut down for the season.
