Honeygo Run Regional Park

Green Space for Family Fun

A bigger, better Honeygo Run Park is in store for sports and nature enthusiasts in White Marsh and Perry Hall.

The county is replacing temporary ball diamonds and athletic fields with a variety of outdoor and indoor recreation facilities to better serve the burgeoning Perry Hall-White Marsh Growth Area. The recent extension of Honeygo Boulevard will provide convenient park access.

Countdown to New Parks logo

  • 3 ball diamonds (2 lighted)
  • 3 athletic fields (one lighted)
  • a 13,000 sq. ft. indoor recreation center
  • a roller hockey court
  • an ADA accessible playground
  • 2 picnic pavilions
  • pedestrian bridge over Honeygo Blvd.
  • 350 space parking lot
  • an extensive path and trail system traversing most of the park's wooded areas

The Players

The park is expected to primarily serve the Perry Hall and White Marsh Recreation and Parks Councils.

The population in the area comprising the Perry Hall and White Marsh Recreation and Parks Councils grew by approximately 25% between 1990 and 2000, representing an influx of over 9,000 residents. This growth trend is expected to continue through at least 2020, with most additional population expansion being centered within the Honeygo Growth Area.
