Outdoor Rentals
All seasons are lovely here at Oregon Ridge Park. Plan to have your function outdoors and enjoy one of our many areas nestled among the woods and grassy fields, each a short distance from modern restroom facilities. You may rent a single site or combine areas to meet the needs of your event. Our park staff will be delighted to assist you in identifying the site(s) that will best meet your needs. Please read the rental rules regarding our outdoor facilities.
Pavilions are rented in 5 hour slots, we allow 1hour before for set up and ½ hour after for clean up. On Saturdays, from May through September, pavilions are available either 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. for your lunch or dinner picnic. On Sundays you may pick any 5-hour window between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m.
All pavilions do have lights and electric so don’t worry about being in the dark.

Arts & Sciences Pavilion
Seating 200 people, the Arts & Sciences Pavilion is located behind the lodge, adjacent to the Nordic Grove and the stage, providing flexibility for larger events. This pavilion is the perfect place to gather with friends and family or have an office party. Special features include; lights, on-site electrical outlets, paved driveway, picnic tables, 4 family sized grills, and volleyball posts.
Westinghouse Pavilion
Nestled between wooded areas, this structure accommodates up to 125 people. Special features include; lights, on-site electrical outlets, picnic tables, 4 family sized grills, horseshoe pits, volleyball posts, and nearby playground
Ridge Pavilion
The Ridge Pavilion, our newest pavilion, is centrally located between the Arts and Sciences pavilion and the Westinghouse pavilion. This Pavilion holds 200 people, and can be combined with the Arts Pavilion or the Timber Tent for larger parties. Special features include; lights, on-site electrical outlasts, paved driveway, picnic tables, 4 family sized grills, and volleyball posts.
Pecos & Timber Tents
The Pecos Tent is located on the field, in front of the playground, nearest the parking lot. The Timber Tent is just behind the playground, closer to the other pavilions. Both tents are 20' X 30' and can seat up to 60 people at picnic tables, perfect for smaller parties and groups with kids. These tents have chipped bark floors and 1 family sized grill. Please note that the playground is open to the public.
Nordic Grove
Situated along the woods line, next to our ski hill, the Nordic Grove has picnic tables and two grills for up to 50 people.
Concert Shell/Stage
Used throughout the summer for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra concerts and a variety of other events, this is a truly unique feature of our park. This shell has a great view, it faces the base of the ski hill and is a great place to have parties, dances and weddings ceremonies. It can be used in conjunction with other rental areas for your really big event. The stage can seat 200 for a ceremony and 150 at tables for parties.
Softball/Sports Fields
Located at Shawan and Beaver Dam Roads, just a short drive from the lodge, this large field features a ball diamond and small parking lot. Perfect for leagues, tournaments, sports camps, or the yearly inter-office game.
