Pumping & Treatment Division
This Division is responsible for pumping station and treatment facility operations seven days per week, 24 hours per day. These responsibilities are broken down into two main categories:
Operations
- Maintain and operate all pumps, valves, air compressors, chlorinating devices, metering instrumentation and engines in water and sewer treatment plants.
- Perform round-the-clock preventive maintenance to pumping station electrical and mechanical systems.
- Operate water and wastewater treatment plants in compliance with State and Federal regulations.
- Perform inspections of pumping stations.
- Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance of grinder pumps in certain areas of the County.
