Winter Storm Tips
At Home

We can clear the roads faster and better with your help.

  • Don't park on the street unless absolutely necessary.
  • Park in your driveway, if you have one, to allow plows to get through your street. By parking in the driveway, your vehicle is less likely to be plowed in, splashed by salt spray or damaged in a collision. If you park at the end of the driveway, you won't have to shovel as much snow to get out.
  • If you must park on the street, please park as close to the curb as possible.
  • If street parking is necessary, try to get neighbors to park on one side of the street. This will give snow plows access to clear more of your street.
