Your questions answered as to why your materials may not have been collected.

Troubleshooting Guide

Possible reasons that your trash, recycling, or yard materials were not collected:

  • Your trash or recycling container had a filled weight of more than 40 pounds.
  • Your trash or recycling container has a capacity greater than 34 gallons.
  • Your trash or recycling container had a lid permanently attached by rope, wire, chains, springs, or by other means.
  • Your container was not clearly designated for recycling use only.
  • Your refuse/recycling was not placed out the night before.
  • Branches and limbs were not tied in bundles weighing 30 pounds or less.
  • Branches and limbs were wider than 3 inches and longer than 3 feet.
  • Your yard material was in a trashcan.
  • Your yard material was mixed with trash.
  • Your materials were set out on the wrong day.
