Collection: Trash, Recycling, and Yard Materials
The Collection Division is responsible for the management of the collection of residential trash, recycling, and yard materials. This division oversees Baltimore County's 47 private trash/recycling collectors.

Yard Materials Collection
If there are Y's on your schedule, yard materials will be collected separately for recycling (not with trash) from April 1 through the last Y day on your schedule each year. In all other cases, yard materials will be collected with trash.
Single Stream Recycling Collection
Baltimore County collects recyclables through the residential collection program. Recycling collection days are denoted by a "R" on your trash and recycling collection schedule. See the full list of accepted materials and how to set your recyclables out.
Troubleshooting
