On Sunday, June 29, 2008, the Northwest Area Recycling Center permanently closed due to persistent dumping. The drop-off center, formerly located next to the Liberty Road Volunteer Fire Station, 10010 Liberty Road at Deer Park Road in Randallstown, will not be relocated.
Baltimore County residents who had been using the Northwest Area Recycling Center and live in single family homes or town homes are encouraged to participate in the County’s once a week trash, once a week recycling program. Residents who need a trash/recycling collection schedule and program guide may request one online or call the Bureau’s customer service line at 410-887-2000.
Residents who had been using the Northwest Area Recycling Center and live in apartments or condominiums are asked to call 410-887-2000. The Bureau of Solid Waste Management will provide information on current recycling options and ask for help in identifying multi-family properties where recycling opportunities might be expanded.
