This office is responsible for:

  • Receiving requests for extensions of public sewer and water lines and alley repairs.
  • Administering the petition process for health related and citizen-financed projects such as sewer and water extensions and connections, and alley improvements.
  • Coordinating design and construction of public sewer and water lines and alley repairs with other County agencies, securing methods of funding and repayment, and conducting the necessary public meetings to explain sewer and water health projects, costs and payment options available to property owners.
  • Assessment and file maintenance for all Metropolitan Charges, such as Water and Sewer Benefit Charges, Sewer Service Charges, Water Distribution Charges and the Bay Restoration Fee (BRF)
  • Billing Food Service Surcharge and Industrial Wastewater surcharges.
  • Administering residential swimming pool wastewater credits.
