Baltimore County's street sweeping program is designed to keep debris out of the storm drains and the Chesapeake Bay. We remove over 6,000 tons of debris each year. - 7 street sweepers

Assigned rotation schedules are used for all streets in Baltimore County with curb and gutter. Main thoroughfares, business districts and industrial areas are swept on a regular basis throughout the year. Residential neighborhoods are swept once a year by request. Our neighborhoods are relatively clean because of conscientious residents who assist us by keeping the area in front of their homes free of litter and debris.
