In the near future, the Professional Services Selection committee will recommend a consulting assignment for the following projects.

Title: On-Call Minor Bridge Inspection Program Services
Project Number: 2014-02 (PDF) Addendum 1 (PDF)
Description: Professional services are required for the routine (biennial) condition inspection and preparation of inspection reports for approximately 348 minor bridge structures located throughout Baltimore County. These structures are in the County’s Minor Bridge Inventory and are generally under 20 feet in span length. Most of these structures have been previously inspected.

Title:On-Call Watershed - Stormwater Assessment and Design Services
Project Number: 2014-03 (PDF) Addendum 1 (PDF)
Description: The Baltimore County Department of Environmental Protection and Sustainability (EPS) is seeking on-call professional services to develop environmental and engineering studies, designs and reports for various stormwater projects in order to achieve water quality improvement and comply with the Federal and State mandated pollutant load reductions and implement the Stormwater Remediation Program. Tasks will include approaches and techniques such as stormwater retrofits or conversions and Best Management Practices (BMP) – bioretention, bioswales, filters, and shallow marsh or wetlands.

Title: On-Call Watershed and Stream Restoration Assessment, Design and Monitoring Services
Project Number: 2014-04 (PDF) Addendum 1 (PDF)
Description: The Baltimore County Department of Environmental Protection and Sustainability (EPS) is seeking on-call professional services to develop environmental and engineering studies, designs and reports for various stream restoration projects and related water-quality initiatives in order to achieve the Federal and State mandated pollutant load reductions and implement the Stormwater Remediation Program . Assessment, methodology and technique selection should utilize an adaptive natural channel design approach. Existing and attainable fluvial geomorphological and limnological parameters in conjunction with engineering hydrology or hydraulics should be used to determine appropriate restoration measures. Project implementation should result in stable, ecologically-functional stream and waterway systems. Services may also include post-design consulting, construction management, and pre- and post-construction monitoring.
