York Road Water Line
Baltimore County is replacing an old and troublesome water line that runs through York Road, between the Beltway and Washington Avenue. During construction, which began May 20, 2013, the old 10-inch line will be abandoned and replaced with new 24-inch diameter pipes.
Crews have mobilized and more than 94 percent of the project is finished. The project, costing $3.2 million, is a little behind schedule and is expected to be completed in December.
