York Road Water Line
Baltimore County is replacing an old and troublesome water line that runs through York Road, between the Beltway and Washington Avenue. During construction, which began May 20, 2013, the old 10-inch line will be abandoned and replaced with new 24-inch diameter pipes. Crews have mobilized and more than 90 percent of the project is finished. Crews are now on winter shutdown and will resume work in May. The project, costing $3.2 million, is expected to be completed in October 2014.
