Bowleys Quarters Sewer Repair
In July Baltimore County contractors began replacing more than 150 feet of failing sewer line in Bowleys Quarters Road to repair the settlement caused by soil and drainage problems in recent years. The project, which is expected to cost about $300,000, will include first “de-watering” the soil in the 900 block of Bowleys Quarters Road and then laying a new ductile iron pipe outside of the road bed through a recently acquired easement. Engineers estimate that the work should take four to six weeks to complete and will not require a road closure. The contractor for the installation is Angelozzi Brothers, Inc. of Owings Mills.
