Function

Our responsibilities are the design and review of roadway projects in the County. This applies to new construction as well as reconstruction of existing roadways to bring them up to acceptable standards.

These projects include private road takeovers, widening of roads, curb and gutters, as well as, sidewalks for existing roads. We prepare alignment studies and approval of major roads throughout the County. Those roads proposed for private developments are reviewed and approved by the Development Plans Review at 410-887-3751.
