The Administrative Division is responsible for various support services for the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, including the development, management and submittal of the department's operating and capital budgets, payroll and employee benefits, accounting and internal computer services and supporting the Bureau Chief.
In addition this division manages the Professional Services Selection Committee (PSSC), which reviews and selects consultants for contracted work. Architects, Landscape Architects, Engineers and Land Surveyors who plan to submit expressions of interest to work on Baltimore County projects must pre-qualify and be licensed by the State of Maryland. Visit their website, State of Maryland, for more information on licensing. The required annual pre-qualification period extends from August 1 to July 31.. The Administrative Division periodically advertises projects in two local newspapers. You may visit The Daily Record and The Jeffersonian web sites for currently advertised projects. They also place advertisements for consulting services online.
