Auction Process
Used dump trucks, front end loaders, backhoe/loaders, fire engines, ambulances and other miscellaneous equipment are occasionally sold at public auction.
The auctions are conducted by the BelAir Auto Auction at their Clayton Station facility, located at 1300 Business Center Way, just off Pulaski Highway, east of Route 152 in Edgewood, MD 21040.
All trucks and equipment are sold by the BelAir Auto Auction in ‘as is’ condition. Baltimore County trucks/equipment are normally sold at the “once a month” combined utility/government auctions with the auctions beginning promptly at 8:30 a.m. on the sale day.
The items (PDF) placed in the auction contain the following information:
- 10 Digit County ID Number
- 5 Digit County Number
- Description of the Unit to be Auctioned
- Accumulated Mileage/Hours on the Unit
- Serial Number
