Driver Training Program
The Baltimore County Police Department partners with the Maryland Police and Corrections Training Commission's Sykesville Driver Training Facility to instruct Recruits in emergency driving situations in a realistic setting, using standard police vehicles.
Driver Training is only one part of the training that Recruits, In-Service Personnel, Cadets and Civilians receive. The driving facility has a urban grid, for driving in conditions that one may find in a city/highway environment.
The MPCTC Driver Training Facility is located at 7310 Slacks Road, Sykesville, MD 21784.
