Driver Training Program

The Baltimore County Police Department partners with the Maryland Police and Corrections Training Commission's Sykesville Driver Training Facility to instruct Recruits in emergency driving situations in a realistic setting, using standard police vehicles.

Driver Training is only one part of the training that Recruits, In-Service Personnel and Civilians receive. The driving facility has a urban grid, for driving in conditions that you may find in a city/highway environment.
