Traffic Safety Specialist Program

The Traffic Safety Specialist Program was created by the Maryland Police Training Commission and funded by a grant from the Maryland Highway Safety Office. It is designed to recognize those officers who have distinguished themselves in the field of traffic safety. Officers who receive this award receive a plaque, certificate and ribbon for the uniform at a ceremony held annually at the Training Commission's Sykesville campus.
