This two-day seminar will provide the attendee with innovative approaches to the Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Program.
On the first night, the seminar will begin with the NHTSA program "Catch ‘Em If You Can!" which is being piloted in Maryland by the Traffic Training Team in conjunction with the Maryland Highway Safety Office. This session discusses new techniques in DUI Detection and Apprehension and practical scenarios will be used. Factors that create reluctance to make DUI arrests will be identified and strategies will be developed to increase DUI arrests.
