The School Guard Team oversees the hiring, training, supervision, and inspection of 273 school crossing guard positions, serving 120 public and private schools. Recruitment is an ongoing process and offers an excellent employment opportunity to many people seeking part-time work within their community.
The guards are also utilized during special events including 4th of July parades, various charity events, and summer school.
