Precinct 11 - Essex 

Investigative Service Team

Members of Precinct Eleven's Investigative Team are assigned at the discretion of the Precinct Commander and report directly to Sergeant John Potteiger.

This group of detectives is responsible for the following:

1. Serve as a flexible crime fighting resource for the Precinct Commander.
2. Perform follow-up investigations of incidents as directed by the Precinct Commander.
3. Identify and monitor known offenders and crime problems within the Essex Precinct.
4. Investigate those crimes or incidents that cause community concern and which require a significant time commitment.
