Community Outreach Team

Members of Precinct Eleven's Community Outreach Team are assigned at the discretion of the Precinct Commander and report directly to Sergeant Lerch.

This group of officers is responsible for the following:

1. Serve as a proactive resource in identifying, stabilizing and resolving community fear and disorder using the problem-solving process.
2. Develop and execute strategies that promote crime prevention.
3. Create community interaction that promotes and maintains police-community cooperation and communication.
4. Support the community problem solving efforts of patrol personnel.
5. Assist in the investigation of Racial, Religious, and Ethnic incidents.
