Community Drug & Violence Interdiction Team ( CDVIT )

Members of the Community Drug & Violence Interdiction Team are assigned at the discretion of the Precinct Commander and report directly to Sergeant Matt Smith.

This group of detectives is responsible for the following:

1. Investigates drug related activities brought to their attention by community complaints.
