Welcome to the Police Department

A Message from Captain Jonathan Trentzsch
Commander of Precinct 8-Parkville

On behalf of the officers of Parkville Precinct Eight, I am pleased to welcome you to our precinct’s web page.  Since assuming command in July 2006, it has been an honor and a privilege to command this precinct and I look forward to the future.

This site has been designed to provide our visitors with a better understanding of how we operate and what services are available.  Please take a few moments to browse this site to learn about the history of the Parkville Precinct, how our School Resource Officers are helping to protect and educate middle and high school students, what opportunities are available to you to make your community safer and how you can tell us about traffic problems in your neighborhood.   You will also find a way to contact us with your general questions or concerns, compliments or complaints.

Many new and exciting changes have taken place recently in the Parkville Precinct.  We have recently completed our new 17,000 square foot, two-story building.  The building incorporates the latest technology including video surveillance monitoring, live-scan fingerprinting and an electronic computerized security system.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website.  We have many more changes in store for you so please continue to visit us often.  By constantly improving our site, we can continue to share information with our communities and better meet the needs of our citizens.  A strong relationship between our police and our citizens is a great way to protect the quality of life that we have come to enjoy in the Parkville Community.

With Best Regards,

Captain Jonathan Trentzsch
