During the year, many events are held within the Cockeysville precinct that will require either public roads to be closed or traffic movement patterns to be altered. The events held consist of various tournaments, footraces, parades, fireworks displays, and neighborhood functions. As a convenience to our residents and community members, this page will contain a chronological listing of these events when precinct officers are assigned to handle traffic control duties. Each event listing will contain the following information: - The date of the event including the rain date if applicable.
- The scheduled time of the event.
- The name of the event.
- The location of the event.
- Information on any road closures and or changes in traffic patterns.
Any event listed that is marked (Pending) indicates that the event is held on an annual basis and will be updated upon confirmation of the new date for the current year or the following year. Since most annual events are held at the same time of the year, the listing will help serve as a guide for use by residents for planning purposes. It is recommended that the listings be checked on a periodic basis as event times and road closures are subject to change with minimal notice. Should additional information on an event be required, inquiries may be directed to the Cockeysville Precinct’s Traffic Team Supervisor, Cpl. Patrick Zito. Cpl. Zito may be contacted by telephone; 410-887-1861 or by e-mail; pzito@baltimorecountymd.gov.
