Baltimore County Police Honor Guard

View the Honor Guard at attention.

The Baltimore County Police Honor Guard has been in existence since 1972.  It is a volunteer unit consisting of 25 members serving throughout the agency.  The Honor Guard participates in approximately 75 events a year.  Such events include police funerals, presentations of the colors at civic affairs, and community parades.

In 1994, 1999, and 2001 the Honor Guard conducted two day training conferences on Honor Guard Procedures and Operation.  These seminars were open to Police and Fire agencies nationwide.  Information on these and future seminars may be obtained by contacting Detective Warren Cooper at 410-887-5521.
