Crime Statistics Hotline
The Crime Statistics Hotline is an automated phone messaging system programmed to provide the latest information on crime in your community. The Hotline can be reached by calling 410-583-2309 or 410-583-2216. The Crime Statistics Hotline has six options available by touch tone phone. These options are:
Option 1: Select Crimes by Community
Crimes include Homicide, Rape, Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Burglary, Theft, Motor Vehicle Theft, Arson, Destruction of Property, and Drugs. Crimes are totaled by year to date for 31 communities. This table is updated every three months.

Option 3: Crime Prevention Information.
This message contains information on how to reduce your chances of being a crime victim. Suggestions cover residential burglary, robbery, and motor vehicle theft.
Option 4: Special Crime Alerts and Bulletins.
Crime analysts release bulletins and alerts for areas experiencing high amounts of crime. Messages include the type of problem, location, and suspect information. This information is updated daily.
Option 5: Baltimore County Alarm Reduction Program.
Option 6: Additional Information and Phone Numbers for the Department.
