January–September 2013 Crime Report

Image of police department logo and the words integrity, fairness, service.During the first nine months of 2013, total Part I crime in Baltimore County decreased by 5.9 percent compared to the previous five-year average for the same time period.

Part I violent crimes (the most serious types of violent crime) decreased by 4.9 percent, and Part I property crime decreased by 6.1 percent, compared to the previous five-year average for the same time period.

Part II crime is not included in the nine-month statistics for 2013. Part II crime will be included in the final year end report when it is available.
