Reisterstown Main Street is actively engaged in following Main Street Maryland's five point approach. We use these points as the focus for our five Main Street committees and we are always looking for volunteers!
1. Economic Development Committee
Economic restructuring strengthens your community's existing economic assets while diversifying its economic base.

2. Design Committee
Design means getting Main Street into top physical shape and creating a safe, inviting environment for shoppers, workers, and visitors.

3. Organization Committee
Organization establishes consensus and cooperation by building partnerships among the various groups that have a stake in the commercial district.

4. Promotion Committee
Promotion takes many forms, but the goal is to create a positive image that will rekindle community pride and improve consumer and investor confidence in your commercial district.

5. Clean, Safe and Green Committee
Sustainability focuses on conserving resources; providing green spaces and parks for recreation and agriculture; offering many options for transportation; using natural and cultural resources wisely for future generations and considering the social and economic needs of all residents.
