Accessibility Modifications

The Accessible Homes for Seniors (AHS) program offers loans to seniors for home improvements like the installation of grab bars and railings, widening doorways, and the installation of ramps. Candidates can learn more about this program at Maryland’s Department of Housing and Community Development web page and apply through Baltimore County’s housing counseling affiliates:

Southeast Community Development Corporation (SECDC) caters predominantly to the Latino, Hispanic American population and offers full service financial and housing counseling services with one-on-one counseling, evening and weekend hours, and they are the only bilingual staff in the metropolitan area.
