County Historic Tax Credit

At the request of County Executive James T. Smith, Jr., the Baltimore County Council has enacted what is the best County tax credit law in Maryland to foster the rehabilitation of historic properties. Council Bill 151-05 replaces the former tax credit law, thereby rendering moot the questions-and-answers that formerly were posted at this website. A new set of questions and answers related to the new law is in preparation and will be posted as soon as possible.

Revised February 3, 2006
