Main Street Reisterstown Plan
On December 1 2008, the Baltimore County Council adopted Resolution 103-08, asking for a revitalization plan for the Main Street commercial corridor of Reisterstown. The resolution asks that the Department of Economic Development and the Office of Planning to spearhead a plan in consultation with the various stakeholders in the community (business people, property owners, citizens and other parties interested in the viability of Main Street).
The two agencies developed exploratory questions to help facilitate the information gathering phase of this project. Staff has met with several stakeholder groups to flesh out the main issues and to determine the method of plan implementation. The meeting notes from those meetings are available below.
